Desoto Classic Restorations is an independent firm of Classic vehicle restorers, who provide vehicles repairs on behalf of private owners, legal representatives, trade bodies, finance specialists and vehicle disposal organisations.

 

Desoto Classic Restorations  provides these services through an agreement directly with clients and this privacy statement provides details of what to expect when we collect your personal information in connection with these services and confirmation that we take responsibility for the protection of your personal data particularly seriously

This will involve the provision of your data to nominated and approved external partners who provide the services we have listed on our behalf outside of our normal areas of operation. Your data will be held electronically within a secure web-based database and additionally retained as hard file copy in a storage location at our offices that has robust access security controls in place to prevent unauthorised entry.

How long will we keep your data for?

Your data will normally be retained for a period of 2 years but under the new GDPR regulations it can only be kept for so long as you wish to allow it and you can request for it to be deleted at any time.

Under the Data Protection Act 1998 and The General Data Protection Regulation you have rights as an individual which you can exercise in relation to the information we hold about you.
