The Jensen FF press car was tested by a number of motoring magazines back in 1969. The particular car did 5000 miles across Europe in that year before being sold to an Airline supplier in 1970, then used by its second owner until its storage in 1977. The Jensen has now received a major rerfurbishment and looks like it did back in 1969.
This Cadillac was exported from General Motors to the UK in the Spring of 1958 and sold by the UK Cadillac dealer Lendrum and Hartman of Mayfair. Unused since the late 1960's, the Cadillac has had over £60,000 spent on restoration works.
This Jaguar MK2 3.4 received some well needed restoration and certainly looks lovely in its Gun Metal and red trim.
Quiet and relaxing Sunday run in a 1961 Ford Consul Mk2 Deluxe . Back in the 1950's and early 1960's, the Consul represented medium luxury for the family, with plenty of room for luggage, comfortable seating and reliable 1700 engines married to a 3 speed manual gearbox. These were very popular cars and only phased out once the Cortina was launced in 1962.
Road side view of a 1962 Hillman Super Minx which had been in storage for several decades. First drive for many many years. The Hillman Super Minx was a mid range family car from the Rootes Group produced from 1961 to 1967, slighty bigger than the standard Minx with a bit more luxury and external brightwork.
Behind the wheel of a 1965 Chrysler Imperial, the largest saloon offered by Chrysler in the 1960's under the Imperial brand. These cars were fully loaded with leather trim, electric windows, power seats and a whole host of other features usually found in Cadillacs and Lincolns of the period.
Behind the wheel of a 1965 Ford Consul Corsair 1500 Deluxe. The mid range Fords were produced to give Cortina buyers a slightly larger and more equiped option , including a GT version. 1963 saw the launch of the Consul Corsair 1500, changed to 1700 & 2000 V4 models from 1967 with production ended in 1970.
